Following a hugely successful event last year, The Dady Brothers, Crikwater, and The Brothers Blue return once again to Sportsmens Tavern for "Cross the Pond: A Celebration of Irish and Appalachian Music!" 

Join us as we explore the common roots of these two traditions in a celebration of the culture and spirit of folk music. What a great way to get the St. Paddy's season started!

SAMF Presents Buffalo's "The Last Waltz" Live 

We are THRILLED to be a part of Sportsmens Americana Music Foundation's "SAMF Presents Buffalo's The Last Waltz Live" at Asbury Hall on Friday, 11/17/17! If you're a fan of The Band, you won't want to miss this very special reenactment of their 1976 epic final concert. We are among a line up of some of Buffalo's best musicians including: Doug Yeomans, Jim Whitford, Ron Davis, Pete Holquin and Jim Ehinger.

The Brothers Blue at the 2017 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival! 

We are excited to announce that are on the bill at the 2017 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival! We will perform on the "Creekside Stage" the morning of Thursday, July 13th opening day (Time: TBA) as a part of their Emerging Artists Showcase. We are totally honored to be performing at this amazing festival and the 2017 lineup looks incredible!

New Album coming in 2017! 

The Brothers Blue have returned to the studio to work on their next album, Big Eyed Rabbit; a collection of some of the band's favorite oldtime fiddle tunes and traditional songs. The record slotted for release in spring of 2017 also features guest musician, Aaron Lipp on guitar and fiddle! Maple Weekend @ BNHV!

Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst, NY

Maple Weekend features a lumberjack breakfast and educational programming. Featuring maple science demonstrations provided in partnership with Reinstein Woods and a maple sugar tour covering the history of maple sugaring, led by Maple Sugar experts and the BNHV’s oxen, Jack and Flynn. This tour features hands-on, interactive stops such as a tree tapping station, a 19th century sugar arch, maple sugar making in Elliott House, and maple taffy making in the Steffen Education Building. Hay rides will also be provided (weather permitting). Museum, Farmstead (don’t forget to visit our chickens, sheep, ram, and oxen) and Historic Village will be open, with demonstrations by costumed interpreters, the Woodwrights Guild, the Blacksmiths Guild, the Quilters Guild, the Lace Guild, and the Weavers Guild. The Museum Gift Shop and Rubeck House will have locally produced maple products for purchase. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for outdoor exploration. Menu: Pancakes, Maple Syrup, Sausage, Eggs, Fruit Cocktail, Hot and Cold Beverages Seatings: Breakfast will be served from 9:30 a.m. until noon in open seating style. Prepaying for your ticket(s) is encouraged, as it allows for ease of check-in at the Will-Call area on the day of. Please note, tables can be reserved for large parties only (8+). To reserve a table for a large party, call 716-689-1440. Tables are reserved for 9:30 a.m. only. Party must check-in by 9:45 am or table will be released to open seating. Tickets: Pancake Breakfast and Programming Tickets: Adult Ticket, $12; Child Ticket, $8 Programming Tickets: Adults and Children are $8 each for Programming ONLY.
